What is Transformational Psychology?

In many ways, we often unintentionally organize our world based on disjointed, unexamined mental constructs and habits.  This fragmented perspective of the world leads to personal imbalance, crippling self-pity, avoidance and resentment, social and vocational dysfunction, or sometimes just living a life much smaller and narrower than what we are actually capable of.

Transformational Psychology assumes that each human experience has equivalent potential to be positive or negative depending on how a person relates to it.  We focus on HOW, not why, a person unintentionally makes choices that negatively impact his or her emotional well-being, social and vocational potential, and quality of life.

This approach teaches and guides a person how to relate to circumstances in a positive, heart felt and embodied manner by developing constructive and effective habits of mind, and by enriching the capacity to make nourishing, respectful and respectable life choices.
